Fox And Goose Inn - Brent Knoll

Breakfast was a total letdown. It took ages just to get coffee, and my partner's meal was nearly inedible. The meat was overcooked and dry, making what should have been a nice celebration really disappointing. Not impressed at all!

Location: the hotel was really close to the restaurant, a good pub, the seaside.

Early check-in, nice location very close to the beer garden with take away drinks from the garage, local attractions and shops. Situated only 1 km from Brent Knoll Camp Hillfort.

Minor - the diner is still prominently featured in the advertising, both online and in the room, but no longer exists.

A lovely stopover near the airport! The rooms are spacious and clean, with thoughtful staff who quickly helped with extra pillows. The food was good, especially the hearty pies. Just remember, it can get a bit noisy at night, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

The experience at Fox And Goose Inn was commendable, particularly the staff's friendliness and attentiveness. The breakfast was impressive, especially the 'whole hog' English, which was served hot and presented well. The air conditioning feature, allowing one room card to maintain it while out, showcased thoughtful hospitality. The bar offered a good option of local ales, enhancing the overall stay. ,

Have stayed a couple of times previously, still as good. Nice clean rooms, service good and food excellent.

there is an excellent garden centre and westcountry motorhomes firm nearby,both well worth a visit.

the room was colder than we expected, although a fire was supplied it was a long time to heat the room up. ,but we must say we enjoyed our stay,and will come again.

The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the food was a good surprise with a cozy atmosphere. The staff offered a warm welcome and were very accommodating, even allowing us to enjoy our own snacks in the bar. The breakfast options were varied, and I appreciated the flexibility with my order. we enjoyed watching the Rugby International on the big screen, which added to the overall experience.

I do recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely romantic escape here! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from beautiful countryside walks and great local attractions. The staff were super friendly, especially the breakfast team, and the breakfast itself was delicious. Our room was spacious and cozy, making it a perfect hideaway for a couple like us!

Sadly, there were a few hiccups. The restaurant closed early, leaving us without dinner options on our first night. We also noticed that the bathroom could use some TLC, as it had a bit of mould. it was enjoyable, but a few improvements could really elevate the experience!
